This punch is warm with festive spices with just the right kick and sweetness from a combination of dark pomegranate molasses and rum.
- In a large jug add rum, pomegranate molasses, cinnamon sticks, star anise and cloves. Stir it up with a wooden spoon and leave to infuse for an hour.
- Once it has infused, add in lots of crushed ice and pour in orange juice, pomegranate juice and top off with ginger ale
- Add in a couple of slices of fresh orange and scatter in a handful of pomegranate seeds and give the whole jug a good stir, making sure everything is well incorporated.
- Serve in chilled glasses or place a retro punch bowl at the centre of the table, perfect for sharing.
