First came cronuts and now it’s pasta donuts (ponuts?)! This food mashup isn’t as bizarre as it sounds as it’s essentially a delicious pasta bake, made into a fun donut shape. Not a sprinkle in sight – just cheesy, crispy pasta bites!
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and Parmesan cheese. Add in the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, pancetta and basil. Toss with a tongs until completely incorporated.
- Carefully arrange the coated pasta in each donut shape on a donut baking tray greased generously with olive oil or cooking spray. Spray the top of the donuts before placing in the oven.
- Place in the oven at 375°F/ 190°C to bake for 15 minutes or until firm.
- Remove and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire wrack to cool completely.
