FEAST: A Dinner Journal is a new magazine created by Donal Skehan and edited by Ross Golden Bannon. This quarterly food magazine takes the reader on a seasonal journey sourcing the elements of a seasonal feast through the integrity of small producers. Lavishly illustrated with Donal Skehan’s own photography and featuring his exclusive recipes, FEAST is a celebration of seasonality and artisan producers.
Donal visits producers across Ireland where he meets some of our greatest artisans – often people with little previous profile. Donal gathers their stories as well as their ingredients and captures them in beautiful photographs which illustrate the magazine. From great castles to tiny holdings each section highlights the location, the producer and their product. Each feature brings the reader ever closer to the dramatic seasonal FEAST in the final feature.
