I thought I would get this up nice and early so people can do the shopping with plenty of time to spare! The final recipe has to be one of my absolute favourites from the book, it’s my blueberry and white chocolate cheesecake, which is let me warn you, extremely heavy but absolutely declicious. It was served last night at The Cookbook Club in Ely CHQ and went down a storm so it definitely is a keeper. When I was first testing the recipe, I made so many of these and ate every one of them!
We shot these photos for the book during an extremely sticky summer in London and we were staying on the top floor in a guest house and after a long and tiring day, I remember dragging the remains of this up with us and eating it out of tin foil with plastic forks. Classy, I know, but it’s that kind of dessert! While I don’t suggest you try eating it the way I have just described, I would reccommend it’s served far more elegantly on a cake stand and failing that a nice plate will do!
So now you have all the recipe’s it’s time to get out there and get shopping, after all the key to any cooking is preperation, so it’s important you have everything to hand when you get into the kitchen. I have listed everything you need, there are a few Asian storecupboard ingredients in there which are worth getting in the house anyway!
